My mood has improved. I want to thank Brit for introducing me to Richard Cheese’s Lounge Against the Machine. Their version of Baby Got Back, completely made my night.

Also, I use Firefox…but I truly hate the way it fails to display my web site. It chews on my CSS, making anything in a table [font or background] just look BAD. So I was googling for some help and found a familiar LJ entry [It's Mr. Iris Print! - CEO Kellie Lynch's spouse--very sexy when he talks nerdy] and he stumbled upon a ‘Block Firefox‘ script. 0_o. I’m not going to use it, because there are no ads on my site that need protecting–but whoa. First I’ve seen that one…I’m used to seeing browser-war-bullshit-tactics, since I’ve been a member of y!Gallery for ages, enduring Snover’s jihad against Internet Explorer [the entire site is built to be completely incompatible with IE].

Speaking of cheesy…I got to blog roaming yesterday and found Stephan Rader trying to give the new Lisa Marie and Elvis charity single a chance [it went poorly] but I did manage to discover that there’s Peanut Butter & Banana Creme Reese’s Cups! I think they sell only at Graceland, but OMG, I must have them! [UPDATE: I love Ebay! -yet I'm not spending $40 on candy.]

Over at Groovy Age, where they’re covering more pulp these days [horror or not--yay!] the latest fumetti post -the theme is ‘rip-offs’- features the Dick Tracey comic Nick Tresey. Let’s just say he manages to put out a stick of dynamite with the ultimate life-saving money shot! I love old-school Italian comics! Snagged this at Zombos Closet…Hammer Films is reissuing The Hammer Story. The Hammer Story includes almost 500 colour and black-and-white illustrations, and a foreword by Christopher Lee.” Yeah whatever…I want it for that damn cover!

I have to ask this, is Flower of Life really ‘Overlooked Manga’? I don’t think so, it’s made of superfly…but I think I know why it got Garrity’s coverage as such. Of all the Yoshinaga titles currently out there, Flower of Life has the worst cover. :/ It’s shame, because it’s one of my favorite books by her–but ugh, that cover for volume 1 just hurts… I love the subsequent covers for the series, specially Vol 3, but that first one annoys me. Wonder why?

Well, I have work to do – which I may seriously shuck off in favor of hanging out with Mr. Gynocrat today, since he’s back!
