I’m trying to eat while answering emails, blogs, and whathaveyou… not smart.

It seems that one of Amazon.com retailers have managed to get RUSH into the system by way of ‘third party seller’. Interesting. I only found it because I typed my own name into the search engine there. It wouldn’t be searchable by ISBN then, just an AISN or something like that, in the Amazon system. I know why DQ doesn’t deal with Amazon personally–and I wont talk about that here, that’s their business, but I find it interesting all the same. I think if Amazon is willing to allow 3rd party selling of products they aren’t personally selling, then they should allow these vendors a means of describing the book and its contents on the sales page. I uploaded both covers to RUSH, would like to have added descriptions–obviously this seller is purchasing from a distributor that deals with Dramaqueen, and so the money does go back to DQ – but it did get me thinking.

As a publisher, if you choose a distributor, I guess you can’t control exactly where your book gets sold. :/ I mean, if a company buys 100 copies of RUSH from AAA Anime, and decides to wrap it mens underwear and sell it for 7$ at a male strip club, there’s really nothing a pub can do about it, because the book is paid for.

I find that hilarious. (>.>)
